It is now 2008 and the internet is huge- and HERE TO STAY!
Most people ask me, what is Social Media Marketing- well, what social media marketing is the newest trend hitting the internet.
Social Media Marketing is marketing that takes advantage of leveraging Web 2.0 Platforms.
So what are Web 2.0 Platforms? Web 2.0 is a term now used to refer to all the social networking sites that are pooping up all over the internet. These Social Networking sites, like Myspace, Youtube, Facebook and more are where people go to hangout online.
Social Media Marketing is now taking advantage of these large communities of people just hanging out online- and leveraging them to grow businesses.
I rely soley on these platforms to grow my onlines businesses and my business is growing more in the past 7 months than in the prior 2 years- the best part??
These social networking sites are FREE! That means I don’t pay advertising costs for my business!

One of the passions I follow are some simple “rules” that we all learn from the time we are little kids… Things like “do unto others as you would have them do unto you”… or “give a man a fish and he can eat for a day, TEACH a man to fish and he can eat for a lifetime”… I wake up every day with energy and passion to do things that I think are “right”, and I believe that a person only has one reputation to live up to, and that is the exact one that he wants it to be…
You see… it’s who we want to be and what we want to do is what matters most of all.. And our success in any area only matters to one person and that one person happens to be YOU! Happens to be ME!
For success to happen it’s up to each and everyone of us to live up to our own reputation and to do what is necessary to make things happen.. You must find the ones who are doing what you want to do… You must take the extra step, go in the opposite direction of the crowd, be true to yourself and be humble enough to take on correction.
Gather the prosperity mind set of those who have it… Learn, practice, and command yourself to be true to the reputation you so desire..
Leading Indicator’s of Those Who Become Amazing Leaders Who Knew How To Draw Large Crowds and Who Were Able To Build Vast Networks..
They are able to draw people to them. Gathering a network is second fiddle to people who possess the ALPHA Code and who are able to speak with certainty, conviction and who CAST their values flagrantly upon other men. Martin Luther King did. Do others follow you? If not, why not?
Your subconscious mind stands between you and the success you only dream of it’s called using your Supermind
“It’s easier to keep going than it is to get started.” – Paul McKenna
Galileo coined it the law of inertia. Newton made it his first law of motion. No matter what you call it, the truth of the matter is that this law applies to more than just physics. It applies to life.
Think for a moment about how hard it is to break a habit. Or think about how hard it is to form a new habit. Starting something new, is always harder than to keep going. There are many reasons for this.
As we start something new, we have not yet build the experience or gained the confidence in our ability. And there is a real physical element to that in our synaptic neurochemistry. The more we repeat something the stronger the synaptic connections for that task become in our brain and it literally does get easier! Repeat it enough and it becomes a habit. And as we all know a strong habit is very difficult to break.
So we can apply this to everything from prospecting to our health to the way we think. If we tend to think negative or get depressed easily it’s because we have reinforced those neural pathways. The key is to strengthen the thoughts and actions we choose to create the kind of patterns that will be beneficial to us.
I’ll end this post with one more quote…
”It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.” – Confucius
