My hubby and I went to our nephews US Coast Guard Boot Camp Graduation yesterday.
As I sat there and listened to the speakers and watching how these young men and women of
100 worked together I was thinking many things but of my many thoughts my mind went to our industry.

We as entrepreneurs have to if we are smart and want to make an impact in this land we must
work together, we must surround ourselves with a community of fellow, “like minded” folks who understand and want to learn this industry. Nothing is accomplished alone. Nothing can compare
with being surrounded where you are celebrated and not just tolerated. There is no room for the selfish. There certainly is no room for those who want to skip the necessary learning steps to succeed.

As I watched these young men and women I was impressed with their ability to march as if they were one. Everyone’s hands and feet moved in perfect order. They spoke to the crowd in complete unity.
They learned the true essence of team work and the true essence of respect for their fellow man. Oh they learned so much more about the what it takes to be a US Coast Guard Solider and the importance of doing the rescue right. These things my nephew will share with us and I will be more impressed with the importance of basic training! But I knew this one thing to be true, they learned their “stuff” and they learned it together!

They learned to lean on each other, lift each other up, give to the group the parts of them that
were unlike any one else and together they all learned their “stuff” thru basic training.

I watched as each were handed their diploma (we had front and center seats) I saw their smiles and their sense of accomplishment on their faces. And it was there that some thing else struck me.
They each learned the same basic training but were all being deployed to new and different places. The training was the same for all in the beginning and now they were each headed to a new place to continue in their filed.

I couldn’t help but think of all the different “places” we as entrepreneurs can go to practice our skills in the field. But the difference is this~~~~~

The basic training for this industry is over looked by most. People come out here ready to tackle something new and just dive in head first. Some make it but most don’t. True or True? The failure rate out here is astounding. And the fact is it doesn’t have to be.

There are coaches and mentors out here. There are communities out here. It’s the individuals responsibility to enroll and learn their skill.

Just like the young men and women I saw, they each had a desire to join the US Coast Guard but they had to enroll and go thru the training weather they wanted it or not. And I am sure most of them had no idea what they were getting themselves into. But they all made it, They all are much better equipped men and women, they learned more about themselves and are now ready to move forward.
The sense of confidence was evident. My nephew came up we hugged and I asked him “are you ready to move on”? His yes was as sure as I sit here and breath. He was confident!

Yes, the learning for these young men and women has just begun but they know their “stuff” and they are ready!

So with the entrepreneur who wants to make it, who sees the importance of the coach, the mentor and the training and will enroll themselves, they to will become better equipped and they will improve their odds for success.
And like the young recruiter’s these men and women these striving entrepreneurs have no idea what is in store for them. However, the training and learning of this industry, what and how it ticks will astound them. They too will learn about self and just how strong they are. All because they took the time for some basic training.
They now will know their “stuff” !!

Average people cancel themselves out based…

on their current circumstances…

They look at their drama today and can’t see past it…

The entrepreneur looks at the same drama…

and sees 2 years from now…

An entrepreneurial spirit has guts…

that the average person doesn’t…

We actually live out what we see in our head…

The entrepreneur sees that which isn’t…

yet, but acts as though!

Real entrepreneurs thrive on sacrifice and pushing their limits…

For us, “comfort” is a four letter word…

Change your thinking, you’ll change your habits…

Change your habits, and you’ll change your life…

It sounds so “easy peezy” I know…

but lets be honest, It takes alot of

will power, prayer and understanding..

Easy no! Simple yes! When you understand…

So I made a video and was re-playing it it my mind. I thought I was double checking my work! (wink)
The line in the video where I say…

“The world needs dreamers, and the world needs doers, but above all that the world needs
dreamers who do” This line is a good’n .

I was pleased with my video. Then there came this silence
and I heard this.. “JoAnn, just think if I God dreamed existence and then did nothing!

I was stunned in my Tahoe, oh yeah I forgot to tell you I was driving at the time.. I was stunned!
I thought it was all about me and God said no. I want to tell you something

What a profound statement to make.. I wanted to get out of my truck and kiss God for He was telling me how powerful our thoughts and dreams are! And how darn important that we follow through! Because what if ?

He was telling me, I Am with you JoAnn, Keep going, go tell others, go be heard!
My mentor Joe Schroeder said the same thing to me. Go be heard JoAnn.
Darn I get so excited sharing lifes disciplines!

I believe God can only do for us what we allow Him to do Through us.
God put those dreams in you. It’s God wanting to be expressed through you. He has plans for our generation.

This industry is crawling with people who have dreams and desires. They have such greatness with in them. Yet they are making decisions based on what they don’t have instead of who and what they can BE!

The more You do who you are to Be… the less You will have to do because God will do the rest.

When I first went on the internet to create a business I had no idea the kind of money I could make. Nor did I have any idea I’d lose the kind of money I did. In just 9 short months I lost most of it.

I remember thinking to myself it was just a pipe dream, it was stupid on my part, who did I think I was anyways? Give up the notion.

Being the kind of personality that is motivated by money more than anything, I was on the business band wagon again . Network Marketing is not all it’s cracked up to be. They sell you pretty packages that you can work for 3 years and live for 20 without working. That’s just plain stupidity. Any multi-millionaire will teach you that if you stop working- you stop earning. Even my multi-million dollar trainer, Joe Schroeder and his team mate and protege’ Diane Hochman taught me that. They said it’s a lie to believe you can work so hard that you’ll never have to work again. It’s also diametrically opposed to a Kingdom mindset to think you don’t have to work. That’s poverty.

So here I am again. I have invested money I really don’t have into my education for ad copy, marketing and more.
Your Mindset Affects Your Checkbook More Than YOU CAN IMAGINE!

What happens when I get this itch? And why does it seem that it comes around in waves? It could be because I am the kind of person who lives for a challenge. It more has to do with who I hang around with, what is going into my head and where my belief system is.

As a Bible believing person I believe God desires me to be prosperous. He desires me to take dominion in anything I set my hand to. He looks good and He can get alot done when I make alot of money because I can sow that into places that set people free for the glory of their King! Money does aid all efforts of evangelism and contrary to what the typical broke church will teach you: God does desire that you make ALOT of money.

The cold hard facts settle in when you realize that if you walk with the wise, you’ll be wise. If you walk with a fool, you’ll learn his ways. In reference to finances that means if you walk with those who are financially independent, you’ll most likely get there. If you walk with victims and whiners you’ll get there too.

Sadly alot of lazy Christians believe the lie from hell that says God is going to drop a financial blessing on your head just pray, fast and believe enough. He does desire to drop a financial blessing onto the life of His kids. However He has never EVER rewarded laziness with wealth. EVER. He typically lets poverty increase, He says that laziness will bring trouble unto your house. Poverty and laziness and drunkenness tend to hang out together. Gluttony, drunkenness and poverty are all cousins.

So how does one inherit all that God designed without selling their soul to a workaholic lifestyle? By walking with a spirit of excellence. I first learned this from Joe Schroeder. Joe has been my mentor for the past 8 months, along with Diane Hochman. Schroeder is a prosperous 48 year old who holds much authority in the natural and the spiritual. He is wise and is an Ambassador for truth in my life. He recently told me that if I realized who I was in Christ there would be no stopping me. “Just do word JoAnn” is what he said. Meaning, JoAnn just speak from YOUR heart, share what you know, BE YOU!

I set out on that task. Show me who I am God. Help me to forgive all the short-changing, small thinking curses that have been spoken over me. Remove from me the mindset of apathy, break the chains and curses of mediocrity and give me courage God to soar and prosper amidst people who are just struggling to make their next house payment!
What Is Your Brain Eating On a Daily Basis?

It never ceases to amaze and sometimes frustrate me when I meet someone who has an OBVIOUS anointing for business on their life yet they live in struggle and frustration. Typically they go to a church that preaches against wealth but are always praying for God to open doors. They hang out with people who speak against the wealthy and succumb to the lie that God has “allowed” their suffering and poverty they are experiencing to build character in their life. They typically fear failure, don’t have much courage or stamina. Yet God Himself designed them to be a strong strong leader.

It’s completely frustrating to me when I meet people like this who are struggling to make their next house payment and they have an anointing from heaven to pay the house payment of several hundred people. What they eat daily in their head and in their heart is feeding their checkbook more than anything.

Where are you today? Is your MIND being fed things that keep you moving forward or you just working every single day of your life trying to not get stuck. Are you striving to be accepted by man or do you want the favor of God?

Can you see why it’s SO IMPORTANT to be cautious what is going into your head? Far too many Christians cry when they see the suffering but do nothing to empower themselves to help. They are so stuck in surviving their own life they have no clue whatsoever on how to reach out and help others.

It starts with what you are listening to, watching and absorbing in a daily basis. It takes an aggressive guarding system in regards to what you allow to enter your MIND, what you permit people to speak over you and into you. Step by step it is possible to reprogram your thinking. I know, I am in the process of having a total spiritual lobotomy in that is changing my life.

Now I am onto the next step. Really becoming ALL that God designed!

Where are you today? Exam what and who you are listening to. And remember this teaching the next time you see a starving child that needs your help.
